The juniper, which is commonly trained into a bonsai, is a shrub often found in mountains about 3,000 feet above sea level. Of all the bonsai, this is commonly admired because of its shapely outline and its forgiving nature. These pre-bonsai have been grown tall and spreading for special bonsai training.
