MelloBonsai's Shipping Policy and Rates

 

Bonsai trees and supplies shipped directly to your door! 

 

Please read the information below about our shipping policies.  If you have any further questions please contact us and we will be glad to answer them for you.
We do our best to ensure your bonsai order is packed securely to prevent damage during transit.  Our packages are also insured by our shipper, UPS, should something unfortunate occur in transit.

 Transit Time

We will get your order to the shipper generally between 1 and 2 business days.  When the order ships we will update the MyAccount page with the tracking number. 

We may wait to ship live bonsai orders so that they go out on a Monday to avoid weekend travel.  Additionally, to prevent damage to your bonsai tree order, we will not ship tropical, cold sensitive, bonsai trees when the weather at our shipping location is less than 55 degrees.  We will notify you by email with weekly updates should this condition arise.  This restriction does not apply to the majority of the trees found in our Outdoor Bonsai section as they are cold hardy.

 Restrictions

We cannot ship plants to California or Hawaii due to agricultural restrictions.  Additionally, Alaska is outside of our shipping range.

 Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout for items that do not specify a shipping cost on their description.  We try to combine shipping costs when possible.  Some items ship from seperate locations.  In such cases and for irregular or heavy items we are unable to do so. Please contact us if you feel the shipping cost shown at checkout may be too high as we may be able to quote you a better custom rate.  When you enter your information on the Google Checkout page you will be notified of the final shipping costs before you are under any obligation to purchase.

Your Privacy

We value your privacy.  We do not disclose any personally identifiable information to unrelated third parties.  We may, as necessary, disclose your name and shipping address to our shipping partners for the purpose of sending you your order.  Your email address is never shared.  All login and order transactions are secured through our SSL encryption and we never see nor store your credit card number.  All billing is handled securely through Google Checkout.
